Head in the Air (2016)

Friday, April 21, 2017

On his new album „Head in the Air“, Hans Sølo takes his listeners on a journey through Europe, on his way visits his home in Bavaria and also makes a trip to a lonely desert planet. Together with string quartet „IG Streichmetall“, the songwriter creates timeless pieces that share the eagerness to experiment of late 60s Pop and yet are catchy and melodic. „Head in the Air“ is an album about dreams and delusions, hope and naive ideas – and about the love of music.
Hans Sølo grew up in Füssen in Bavaria and has been living in Berlin since 2008. He released his second album „Silence“ in 2010. Since then, he has written countless arrangements for „IG Streichmetall“, played shows all over Europe and further defined his individual style between Folk and Psychedelic Rock.

The album as available on Bandcamp, Amazon, JPC, etc.
